What's this?!? Two posts in one day?? Well we have access to internet now that we're at the ole' rents' hizzy, so we're putting it to good use.
The little puppy you see before you is a creation of mine. I was searching for a camping stove, but while doing research I found instructions for creating my own from old soda cans. So far this little powerhouse has cost me about 5 hours of research / construction / testing and less than 10 smackers! Can't beat that! And oh the joy of using your own creation...
You can click on the picture and see more of the "first lighting ceremony." The tarnished-looking ring is used to slow the burn after the pot has come to a boil. I still need to make a windscreen and pot-stand but those should be easy.
Anyone want to go camping??

I too stumbled across this (through dan's blog and your dad's blog) and I was so excited! I would love to find some wedding pictures of you two. Is there any way I can stumble across those somehow? I hope you guys are doing great and I am so excited to read a little bit about what is going on. I am going to go teach 2nd grade in Hungary with CCC. I leave August 12th so hopefully I can see some pictures before then:) I miss you guys!
