Elijah Maxwell Woodward
We are pleased to announce the early arrival of our little boy, Eli on August 18, 2008 at 9:33pm. He weighed in at 4 lbs, 13 oz. In Eli's first day outside of the womb, he underwent surgery to correct a bowel obstruction and is now recovering very well at the hospital. Though we are not certain when Eli will be able to leave the hospital, we are hopeful that within the next week or two, he will be digesting mommy's milk and ready to come home. God has blessed us richly with the gift of this precious little boy!

Congratulations! Sarah, we will miss you at Boyce, but we are saving Eli a spot in the freshman class of 2026!!

He looks bigger than 4lbs, so much stronger. You did a great job staying healthy in your pregnancy and it shows! Congratulations on a beautiful bouncing baby boy. Contradictory to the Marshman comment, I think he looks like you Sarah!
That mouth in the last picture is definitely Sarah's genetic influence... so sweet! Glad everyone's doing well!! Keep us updated - love you!!!

so, I admit it, I'm a little obsessed with the new Elijah Maxwell, I check to see if there are any new pics about twice a day... any updates on when he gets to go home?
Praise God! We are so excited about Eli! Praying that you may bring him home soon! Ellie says, "Eli is so cute". We so agree. :)
Congrats! We are praying that God would heal your son quickly so that he can be at home with you! We really can't wait to meet him...so can you tell him to speed it up?! Let us know if you need anything.
