One and a Half!

Today is Eli's 18-Month Birthday. We don't have any parties planned, but we thought we'd share his latest developments. His physical stats are:
Height: 31 inches (25th%)
Weight: 24lbs 8 oz. (10th%)

This puts Eli firmly in the smaller category, but he's still clearly growing well. Maybe he's going to wait until high school to hit his growth spurt...?

One of the most exciting things now is Eli's language development. Practically every day he's learning and saying new words. So far, here's his list of words:
- teeth - trash (his first word)
- daddy - momma
- hot - cold
- kiss - kite
- bubble - dog
- chew - choo choo
- bite - tree
- truck - big
- tall - peas
- ball - book
- meow - hiss
- byebye - car
- clock - queen (see below...)
- water - fish
- boot - two
- four - go
- bus - done
- diaper - down (he also says down when he wants up...)
- cookie - ready (when the microwave is done)
- keys - cheese
- baby
- "coffee" (the ff's are hard, so he points to my mug and it sounds like "cocky")
